The Dell EMC PowerEdge R650 server is part of Dell’s 15th generation line of servers and supports Intel’s new Xeon Scalable Family of processors, which offer a 27% increase in processing cores. It supports an impressive 1536GB of memory and up to 58TB of internal storage that’s a perfect fit for dense scale-out computing. Optional NVDIMMs and NVMe drives reduce latency and boost application performance. Data is kept safe with built-in cyber resilient security features, including System Erase technology, which enables administrators to securely wipe all data from the server’s components quickly and efficiently. Dell’s EMC Open Manage portfolio automates the majority of routine management tasks and begins working the moment the network and power cables are connected.
